I did my usual weekend art stroll and visited Shift Gallery and bumped into a couple of wonderful visual artists. Stephanie Krimmel was showing her 1400 digital artworks. She’s been created at least one artwork a day since the pandemic began. Very impressive!
Once Krimmel finishes one artwork she begins the next day where she left off. So this creates a kind of consistency across the works which is really evident in the photo above.
Have you ever heard of the anglerfish? It’s a deep sea, ancient fish with a light on its head. Artist Sung I Chun’s sculpture above is based on this incredible creature.
Check back soon for another art stroll and my upcoming in-depth artist profiles.
